WORLDS MOST TOP 10 INNOVATIVE UNIVERSITIES

Hey, guys, you know what today I am here to share with you something which is nothing but my thought “What are the most innovative universities in the world? ”.
So after googling, I figure out a list of the top 10 most innovative universities in the world so here is the list.
  1. Stanford University:- Stanford University takes first place as World's Most Innovative Universities. The university has locked down the top spot by consistently producing new patents and papers that influence researchers around the globe.
  2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology:- Another my favorite university is MIT which is also in the USA and the second most innovative university in the world for the fourth year running, in part because its research is cited more than any other university in independent patent applications and journal articles. Founded in 1861 with the goal of "aiding the advancement, development and practical application of science," MIT research has fueled some of the most important innovations of the past century, including the development of digital computers and the completion of the Human Genome Project. In its 158-year history, the university's student and staff alumni have included 90 Nobel laureates, 59 National Medal of Science winners, 75 MacArthur Fellows, and 29 National Medal of Technology and Innovation winners.
  3. Harvard University:- The third is Harvard University, which also comes in the list of the World's Most Innovative Universities. Established in 1636, Harvard University is the oldest institution of higher education in the United States. It has produced 48 Nobel laureates, 32 heads of state and 48 Pulitzer Prize winners over the course of its 383-year history. The university's $39.2 billion endowments is the world's largest. While the university's selective undergrad program only accepts about 6,700 students each year, more than 1.6 million students from 195 countries have enrolled in classes via HarvardX, the university's free online learning program. 
  4. University of Pennsylvania:- the University of Pennsylvania, a private Ivy League university that is also situated in the USA and comes in 4th most innovative universities in the world. As of 2019 Penn boasted a research budget of $1.02 billion. Penn was established in 1740, and the American founding father Benjamin Franklin served as one of its first trustees. Over the following centuries, the university has been home to many other notable faculty and staff, including four Nobel Prize laureates and four National Medal of Science recipients in the past two decades alone. The university includes 189 research centers and institutes.
  5. University of Washington:- A 5th most innovative university which is the University of Washington but do you know that it comes the highest-ranked public university on the list. Established in 1861, the University of Washington is a public research university with campuses in Seattle, Tacoma, and Bothell. UW offers 1,800 undergraduate courses each quarter and confers more than 12,000 degrees annually.
  6. University of North Carolina Chapel Hill:- Authorized by the North Carolina state Constitution in 1776, UNC-Chapel Hill was the United States' first state university, and the only public university to award degrees in the 18th century. Today it is the flagship university of the 17-campus University of North Carolina System, with over $1 billion in annual research expenditures.
  7. KU Leuven:- Belgium's KU Leuven is the most innovative university outside the U.S.Recent research highlights at the university include the March 2019 announcement by bioscience engineers based at KU Leuven's Center for Surface Chemistry and Catalysis that they have invented a new generation of solar panels that can efficiently produce hydrogen gas out of thin air.  KU Leuven Research & Development (LRD), established in 1972, was one of the first tech transfer offices in Europe and has helped the university spin-off more than 124 companies across a range of industries. Founded in 1425 by Pope Martin V, KU Leuven is the world's oldest Catholic university. 
  8. University of Southern California:- A private research university based in Los Angeles, USC has strong ties to Hollywood and significant expertise in digital entertainment. The university's Institute for Creative Technologies studies how people engage with technology through virtual characters and simulations, and collaborates with studios including Warner Bros and Sony Pictures Entertainment to develop ever more realistic computer-generated characters in movies. USC's technology transfer center, the Stevens Center for Innovation, has spun out a number of entertainment startups, including LightStage LLC, which has created visual effects for films including "Avatar" and "King Kong."
  9. Cornell University:- Another one is Cornell University, which ranks 9th in our list. The university is dedicated to graduate study and promoting collaborations between faculty, students and the private sector; current partners include Verizon and India’s Tata Group. When it is completed in 2043, the campus will include two million square feet of building and will be home to more than 2,000 graduate students. In fiscal 2018, Cornell research contributed to 392 new technologies disclosed for total revenue of $21.8 million. Ezra Cornell established this Ithaca, New York, Ivy League university in 1865, after making his fortune as co-founder of the Western Union Telegraph Company. The university operates eight undergraduate units and four graduate and professional units in Ithaca, two medical graduate and professional units in New York City, and one in Doha, Qatar.
  10. Imperial College London:-  Imperial College London is a public research university serving more than 17,000 students from more than 125 countries. Founded in 1907 as part of the University of London, Imperial became fully independent in July 2007 and now focuses on the disciplines of science, engineering, medicine, and business. Throughout its history, Imperial College researchers have been responsible for groundbreaking innovations including the discovery of penicillin and the development of holography and fiber optics.
